Hey Joe Brewing Company

New comer, Hey Joe Brewing Co, are doing brews in a traditional copper brewhouse with a "hands on" style.  Their 1961 'Halve Maan' copper brewhouse was transported all the way from Belgium and takes pride in the abbey styled brewery and they will be pumping out an exciting array of beers sold exclusively at their HQ. Head brewer Anja van Zyl, previously from CBC, heads up this exciting addition to the brewing community.  Their restaurant will be headed upby wordly experience chef Nicola Spillsbury. The Franschhoek Beer Co is the valley's first destination microbrewery. Dedicated German/South African brew master Olaf Morgenroth utilises the pure spring water from the valley to hand craft their consistantly award-winning beers. Many awards and accolades adorn their elegant yet casual taproom and restaurant named TAP|EAT. Plush lawns, kiddies play area with jungle gym, ice cold beers on tap served in allocated glassware, creative beertails (deliscious cocktails with thier beer), local wines & MCC with a fresh, tasty menu created by beer partner chef Reuben Riffel to compliment their beers. Tuk Tuk Microbrewery, in partnership with award-winning Cape Brewing Company (CBC) team, serves bespoke brews and Mexican-inspired food. Head brewer Dewald Goosen is no stranger to awards and gained his experience at CBC as senior brewer. Tuk Tuk’s brewery is ‘micro’ in the truest sense of the word and provides an interactive experience. Guests can be seated indoors around the microbrewery or outdoors on the bustling main street of Franschhoek village. Get your second beer at half price.Open until after 10pm, this makes a great final stop after our 7pm transfer.
